Fort Langley National Historic Site invites the Tourism Industry & Media to check out our new slate of summer programming on Saturday May 23, 2009 from 10 am – 5 pm. Mention that you got this invitation from Tourism Langley, and get free admission to the event.

Highlights of the day’s programs include Historic Weapons Demonstrations at 10:30 am and 1:30 pm, and the popular “Fur Trade Wedding” program at 2:30 pm. Programs led by costumed interpreters will take place all day, including campfire programs, gold panning, visiting farm animals, blacksmithing and barrel-making demonstrations, and kids activities. Enjoy a heritage lunch or coffee at our Mighty Fraser Restaurant.

You could win two tickets to the “Dinner & A Historic Walking Tour” program or a family annual pass at our 2 pm contests. Anyone who buys an annual pass on May 23 will receive a free book about the Royal Engineers.
